ANGUS CONNECTIONS PEER SUPPORT FOR EARLY STAGE DEMENTIA

Working with the established dementia meeting centres across Angus, this new peer support network is for you if you are:

  • worried about your memory and think you may be developing dementia
  • worried about a family member or friend who is struggling with memory
  • being investigated for changes to your memory and day to day functioning
  • diagnosed with dementia and are waiting for Post Diagnostic Support
  • actively supporting someone who has a diagnosis of dementia

The groups offer:

  • time to meet and chat with peers in a safe space
  • an opportunity to find out what services and support might be available to you
  • an opportunity to have your voice heard

Free drop in information sessions available:

  • Kirriemuir (Kirrie Connections) – 16th December 24 & 13th January 25 -1.30pm – 3pm.
  • Brechin (Jars Community Hub) – 12th December 24 – 11am-2pm
